While I am new to the savage world, typically when split in the sidewall take place it is due to exposure and not having anykind of shield from it or I have read that over armour alling any kind of rubber will do that also. The only option short of buying a new tire might be trying to keep the tire shined up with some kind of silicone shine. There may be something out there that can restore a tire seems like I have heard of a product called tire black that supposedly will restore a tire to a certain point.
